Steve Kapp from upstate New York shot this monster bull on the second day of his hunt after passing on several large bulls. His 21 year long dream of hunting a trophy Maine Moose was fulfilled in Zone 7, on a beautiful crisp October day! His brother Michael was there to video the entire hunt and enjoy the excitement!

Weight 950 lbs.

Every once in a while, even the guide get's a moose tag! Here, husband and wife paired up to take this 62" Boone and Crockett monster bull from New Hampshire's zone C1!

We are located in the Western Maine Mountians, in the middle of some of the state's finest moose country. We border the White Mountain National Forest, and the Caribou/Speckled Mountain Wilderness Area. The terrain varies from swamps and river bottoms, to mountainous areas and areas with various stages of clear cuts. The pressure is very low, and your chance at a trophy bull is excellent!

To hunt moose in Maine you must first possess a moose permit. Applications may be obtained by contacting the Maine Department of inland Fisheries and Wildlife at www.state.me.us/ifw

Applications must be post marked by April 2, 2010. Lottery is drawn in June.
