It is never too early to get your child involved in hunting! They will quickly learn a deep respect for nature, and help to preserve our heritage and traditions as a hunter and a lover of the outdoors.

Ask about our special rates for children. We make it very affordable for a parent to take a child hunting.

***To hunt in Maine, a child must be at least 10 years of age and possess a youth hunting license.

Hunting for Snowshoe Hare in the backwoods of Maine is a great way to enjoy the winter months. We hunt without the aid of dogs, and usually cover a lot of ground. You are welcome to bring your dog or dogs if you'd like.

Snowshoe hare season begins in October and continues into March. We start hunting them in December {after deer season ends} and continue to the end of the season. If you hunt with us in Oct or Nov. and tag out early, you are always welcome to hunt for hare, partidge, coyotes, or other animals in season.
